Check the configuration, mattress and room together

Upper and lower bed sizes
check each sleeping surface separately. The lower trundle may be a different size from the main bed.
Mattress fit
confirm internal dimensions and maximum mattress thickness for both levels. Include the actual mattress edges and piping when checking an enclosed frame.
Open floor space
